Farmstead built within a medieval earthwork (motte and bailey) site. The corner of the stone-built farmhouse, demolished c. 1890, survives on the N. side of a U-plan courtyard complex. The farmbuildings include a five-bay barn (NPRN 98256) flanked by open- fronted sheds with a cowhouse in range with the house. Noted with sketch-plan in 1988; Radnorshire Inventory, mon. 116.
