Roughly U-plan timber-built farmstead of C18th/C19th origin defined by the house, a parallel barn (NPRN 98275), and a cowhouse on the SE. (NPRN 98276) side. A second yard has been created to the SE. with the building of a further cowhouse (NPRN 98276). The farmhouse (SO14716963), built across the slope, has been much modernized but appears to have been timber-framed and of end-chimney, lobby-entry type originally. (RFS/2001)
