Tre-maen, a late-19th-century farmstead, built on a level site at 730ft. in the valley of the Cnithio brook. The farmstead consists of a centrally-planned house set seperately to the NE. with a L-shaped range containing barn, cowhouse and a large stable unit to the SW. The site is adjacent to the old road running down the valley to Builth Wells and the stables are said to have been used for a staging post.
