Middle Hall, a mid-19th century farmstead, standing on a level road-side site at the base of Aberedw Hill, which descends W. towards the river Wye. The stone-built farmhouse is set across the slope at the S. end of a range which also includes a barn, mainly of timber-frame weather-board construction, a cowhouse and stable. There is a separate, later barn range to the N., also of timber-frame weather-board construction but set on a high plinth, which has a cartshed with granary over at the upper end.(HB)
