DescriptionThe Rhyd-Sarn Sunday School and Chapel is built on a bank above the lane with a stone retaining wall. It is a small rural chapel, built in the Vernacular style in 1859. It is built from stone rubble, now whitewashed, with a long-wall entry and a slate roof. The entrance facade has a centre doorway and flanking segmentally-headed window openings. There is a similar window in the lefthand return. The interior is thought to have had a rear pulpit and a centre aisle with block of seats to each side. By 2003 Rhyd-Sarn was no longer in use as a chapel and had been convereted to domestic use.
