Limeworkings covering an area of some 450m (E-W) by 200m comprise quarries, spoil, burnt lime, kilns and a small ruined rectangular building. At least 25 kilns are visible. All are ruined and some are heavily turfed-over; no structural features are now visible. Four examples occur at SN 71661929, SN 71751933, SN 71851939 and SN 72041938 all of which survive as earthworks more than 4m across and up to 2m high. Some deposits of `quarry spoil' may be ruined kilns.
