The track is in the midst of lime workings, but probably predates most of them as it is severed at its SW end by a lime pit. The track runs NE-SW for about 55m. and is approx. 3.5m. wide. It is built up on its NW side, with a boulder revetment wall about 0.3m. high, the SE side being cut into the slope to a depth of 0.6m. At the NE end, some 10m. to the NW and running roughly parallel, is a boulder wall 0.8m. wide, 0.3m. high and 10.0m. long.
