Description
A number of earthwork features are located on the SW-facing side of Foel Deg or on its summit.

SN 73941529: a short arc of roughly coursed walling, its convex side facing W, measures 9m long and 0.8m thick with a height of 0.7m. A few metres behind it to the E is a small cairn of loose stones overgrown with rushes measuring 5m (NE-SW) by 3m and 0.2m high. This was probably once a larger cairn from which a shelter or shooting butt has been constructed.
SN 73951529: E of above a small cairn measuring 6m (E-W) by 2.5m consisting of a scatter of loose stones no more tha 0.2m high.
SN 74051528: on the summit of Foel Deg is an oval setting of stones measuring overall 3m (NW-SE) by 2.4m surrounding a central cluster of smaller stones. None protrudes above the turf by more than 0.1m.
SN 73921532: a small cairn measuring 5m across and 0.3m high.
SN 73881530: a small cairn adjacent to outcrop on the S and located above an area of scree measures 4m across and 0.4m high.
