Site Record

A patch of dry ground on an otherwise boggy SW-facing slope is partly enclosed by a discontinuous stony strip. The NW extent is a roughly semi-circular band of stone 25m long, 1.5m wide and up to 0.4m high. From near the E end a further 19m length can be traced downhill to the edge of a stream to the SW.
Some 25m N of the bank, across natural spreads of stone, is a stony mound 4m across and 0.4m high.

This site is perhaps a cultivation plot, whereby an 'island' of dry ground was used on perhaps a seasonal basis.
