Description

At the S edge of an area of scree and surface stone (indicated on the OS 1:10000 sheet) are some discrete accumulations which may have, in part at least, an artificial origin.
A curving band of stone forming a rough U-shape measures some 30m long, 2m-4m wide and 0.3m high. It is surrounded by smaller stone piles up to 5m across and 0.3m high. A short distance to the E a similar bank within scree appears to have been heaped up with stones. It measures some 32m long and 3m-4m wide, averaging 0.3m high. The area to the S is clear of stone unlike the area to the N. E of the S end of this band is a stone heap of loose rubble measuring 6m (E-W) by 3.5m and 0.3m high.
