Located on the north bank of a stream in a field fringing the moorland lies a rectangular building. Situated on a ledge about 3m above the stream, close to a ford, the building measures overall, 7.5m (NE-SW) by 3.5m. The vague bounding walls, of boulder construction, are about 0.8m. thick and 0.3m high; there is a likely entrance gap on the south side but no clear evidence of subdivision. A second building lies to the north-east (NPRN 84300).
