DescriptionCapel Ainon Baptist Chapel was built c.1875 but replaced by Capel Tabernacl in 1897. During the twentieth century the Capel Ainon building was extended and used as a dairy shop with an adjoining house. A photograph of the altered chapel in 1993 shows a possibly gable-entry chapel of snecked stone built in the late nineteenth century manner, with a plaque inscribed "Ainon/ Addoldy y Bedyddwyr" above a blocked circular occulus with key and impost blocks. The dairy shop extension is shown below. At the street elevation the building appears as a double-fronted house with 4-pane sash windows with horns.
