The remains of two enclosures, one with a building attached, lie on the SW bank of Nant Tawe Fechan, at the base of the rock-strewn E slope of Allt Fach, at about 280m. above OD.
The larger enclosure at SN 8462 1790, is a trapezium in plan, the sides measuring overall, 14.5m. NW-SE, 14.0m. SW-NE, 9.0m. SE-NW, 11.5m. NE-SW. and is bounded by a boulder wall spread up to 2.0m. wide, 1.0m. high. Adjacent to the SW wall, at the W corner, is a building measuring overall 7.8m. SW-NE by 4.5m. The walls are of roughly coursed stones much smaller than those used in the enclosure walls and measure 1.0m. wide, 1.0m. high. There is a possible entrance in the SW end. A possible identity for the site is an animal pen with shepherd's shelter attached
