Description

A subrectangular enclosure, probably a sheepfold of Post-medieval date, is located at the foot of, and against, a band of outcrop at about 460m above O.D.
Overall the fold measures about 19m long (N-S) by about 11m at its widest. Its walls are composed of coursed rubble and boulders, now largely tumbled. They were less than 1m thick and in places still stand to a height of up to 1m, possibly through more recent accretion. Much of the west side of the enclosure is formed by the outcrop.
