Site Record

A platform scoop has been cut into the SE facing slope of Fan Frynych, to the north of Craig Cerrig-gleisiad. The terrace, which slopes gently downhill, measures 9.5m (NW-SE) by 4m, has been cut back to 0.75m deep and built out to 0.2m high. The hood flanks are embanked to an external height of 0.5m. At the upper end of the platform against the SW side of the hood is a stony mound. It measures 2m across and 0.2m high. The entire site is heavily overgrown with grass and bracken.
