Part of the Minera Lead Mines complex (nprn 33932), Roy's Shaft lead mine is located alongside the mineral railway to the north-west of Meadow Shaft (nprn 85308) and was a lead, silver, and zinc mine operating from 1852 to 1913. There are remains of a winding engine house (nprn 85315).
