Ventilation shaft (Old Air Shaft) lying north-east of Fochrhiw Pond.
The brick cap of a ventilation shaft measures 1.1 x 1m and is 0.5m high. The shaft is located west of Fochriw Reservoir and is labelled 'Air Shaft' on the Ordnance Survey Second Edition map of 1901.
