Soar Methodist Chapel was built in 1824, rebuilt in 1839, porches added in 1863 and modified further in 1891. The present chapel, dated 1839, is built in the Vernacular style of the gable-entry type. Soar is now Grade 2 Listed as an ambitiously scaled mid nineteenth century chapel with good external and internal character.
