DescriptionSalem Baptist Chapel was built in 1835 and rebuiltin 1873. The later chapel was stone-built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type. The centre gabled porch had a circular window over, with impost blocks and petal tracery. It had flanking windows with keyblocks and pilasters, 3-bay l.h. return windows with stone voussoir heads and sash windows with horns & margin panes. A Sunday School or vestry was attached to the rear. By the 1990's Salem had been demolished.
