1. This site is depicted on the OS 25 inch plans of Brecknocks 1888 and 1904 sh X plan 8. There were spectacular picturesque walks in parkland, terracing, and a small kitchen garden. There appears to have been a fine avenue approach overlooking a minor stream over which there was footbridge access.

2. Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 23rd November 2012 recorded extensive earthworks in the parkland to the east of the house, apparently showing an avenue or carriageway approach and potential traces of a deserted settlement.
