1. Postcards exist showing an extensive simple geometric miniature boxed parterre stretching beyond the frontage of the house, together with two types of urn about 1.3 m high. The beds are separated by clear paths and the entire impression is of Edwardian gardening at its zenith. CSB ii 03.
