2. A c.1.4km stretch of Roman road, part of the route W of Carmarthen (Nprn114111), surviving as discontinuous earthworks & parchmarks, running generally NE-W, from SN32521897 to SN31281840.
This segment of road appears to form a diversion around the S of the hill of Wenallt, the summit of which seems to have served as a sighting point for the sections of road to the E (Nprn86907) & WSW (Nprn308880).
