Description
2. Ruinous rectangular structure aligned NW/SE. Walls appear as turf covered banks with stone protruding in places, maximum height 0.6m and spread to a width of 2.5m. The long walls on the SW appears the lowest and has possibly been robbed. No internal features or divisions apparent, but some loose stone apparent. Slightly lower section of SW and NE walls may indicate entrance(s), but this is uncertain. The building stands within a field system of earth banked enclosures, including a rectangular 'paddock' immediately adjacent to the E, possibly accessed by the possible entrance in the NE wall. Possible spring emerging from base of rock outcrop, c.80m W. Overall dimensions 14.0m x 6.5m.
