Description
Wrexham Exchange station lies immediately west of Wrexham General (former Great Western Railway) station and is, as the name suggests, an interchange point with the GWR line between Chester and Shrewsbury. Exchange lies on the former Wrexham, Mold and Connah's Quay Railway, later Great Central Railway, between Wrexham Central and Gwersyllt; it was opened in 1866 and is still open for traffic.
