Hermon Independent Chapel was built in 1814, remodelled in 1843 and rebuilt in1871. The 1871 chapel was designed by architect Richard Thomas of Menai Bridge and built in the Gothic style of the gable-entry type. By 1999 Hermon had been demolished.
