DescriptionSoar Methodist Chapel was built in 1858 and rebuilt in 1895. The later chapel was built in an elaborate Romanesque style of the gable-entry type. Entry was via a porch with three doorways into the chapel, one double door with two single doors either side. The windows were particularly prominent in this chapel as four Arts and Crafts style windows on the second storey. Another prominent feature was a large arch in the facade. Soar was demolished in 1998 and semi-detached housed built on the site in 2000.
