An oval enclosure c.50mx42m, elongated to SE, recorded during archaeological analysis of Ordnance Survey vertical aerial photographs (Photo ref: OS 75-308/005), taken in parched conditions in the summer of 1975. Discontinuous sections of two or possibly three parallel ditches are visible c45m E of enclosure at ST 0688 6798, underlying present field boundary. This is a further possible enclosure. A GGAT archaeological evalutation in 2001 confirmed Iron Age occupation, and possibly Bronze Age occupation.
