There is a set of steps at the rear of the chapel leading to a hall/Sunday school directly behind it. There is also a second hall/school building to the right of this chapel set at a 25 degree angle to the main building. This auxiliary building is also built in the Arts and Crafts style with simple round-headed windows It consists of three parts, each behind each other and each one wider than the previous section.
By 2004 Trecynon had been converted into a house.
