A WWII reinforced concrete defence post protecting part of Pembrey Air Field. Long axis 340 degrees, open front facing sea with enfilading openings off N and S sides, 6.5 paces wide internally, one entry point. Interesting surviving contemporary instructions painted on walls, including a semi-circular pelorus recording bearings of landmarks (including two shipwrecks) and information on case-shot and half charges. Site now difficult to approach. Visited TA & HJ James 18.1.99 (TAJ 18.1.1999).
