DescriptionBethlehem Independant Chapel was first built in 1840 and then rebuilt in 1866. A schoolroom was added in 1871, a chapel house in 1882 and a vestry in 1889. The chapel is built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type with a large arch in the facade. Contained within the arch is a pair of central doorways, with plain round-headed architraves with keystones supported on integral columns and fitted with panelled double doors. Above these doors is a pair of short, round-headed windows with Florentine tracery, and a further pair of taller, but otherwise identical, windows flanking the giant arch.
