Reservoir, measuring approx 30m E-W by 70m, forming the southern termination of a linear water store or feeder which runs parallel to and to the west of the Cyfarthfa Canal (nprn 232778), but does not appear associated with it. There is a sluice in the southeast corner. The reservoir was supplied by a leat from the south (nprn 261908).
