Part of the Rheidol hydro-electric scheme (nprn 91572), the power station contains two generating sets each of 20,500kw driven by water carried from Dinas reservoir (nprn 308001) in a 4.4km pressure tunnel, with a surge shaft at Bwa Drain (nprn xxxxxx).
