A cable-stayed bridge, opened in 1966, carrying the M48 (formerly M4 [nprn 417517]) London and south Wales motorway between Beachley and Chepstow. The bridge joins end-on with the Severn Bridge (nprn 43161) at the eastern (Beachley) end.
