DescriptionTabernacle Independent Chapel was first built in 1883 and rebuilt in 1893. The later chapel is built in the Classical style, with a gable- entry. The central, round-headed doorway is built under a giant arch. Contained within this arch are three round-headed windows, the central one with Florentine tracery and the outer with marginal glazing. Flanking the arch are two larger round-headed windows, also with Florentine tracery. In the apex of the gable is a roundel with vents decorated with cusped decoration.
By September 2015 the chapel was derelict and being offered for sale with planning permission for demolition.
