A cairn is located on the immediate east side of a track which runs along a saddle between Cefn Drum and Twyn Tyle, the track continuing north along the crest of the latter. It is a turf-covered stony mound measuring 8.8m (NW-SE) by 7.6m and 0.4m high. The centre is slightly dished. Its oval shape is probably due to the piling of robbing spoil against the south-east side.
