DescriptionNAR SS98SW22
A subcircular enclosure is bissected by a double fence line and a ditch. The W half survives best, and is most evident, the bank and ditch surviving on plan much as described when visited in 1967. However, the bank is now no more than 0.2m high, its inner scarp discontinuous. The ditch has a maximum depth of 0.3m and is also discontinuous. The E half of the enclosure lies in a poorly-drained field overgrown with rushes and lush grass. Some undulations are visible and probably represent the enclosure bank on this side as well as the concentric enclosure mentioned in the Inventory report.
