Description
Minny Street Indepndent Chapel was built in 1887 to the design of architect J P Jones and then extended in 1904. This large chapel is built in the Classical style with a pedimented gable-end entrance front in Fanny Street and long elevation of eight bays in Minny Street. The chapel is stone-built with some dressed-stone detail and yellow-brick 'pilasters'. The inscription over the doorway records the building phases: built 1887, enlarged 1904, restored 1927.
