2. A cave, or rock-shelter, c.5.4m wide and c.2.4m high, set c.12m above Milford Haven, and narrowing to a tunnel c.30m in length, produced finds, when excavated in 1906-7, of Mesolithic-Paleolithic provenance, a BA hoard and possibly 14th-15th century AD shell middens, besides remains of elephants, reindeer & other local fauna.
