Description
A round cairn is located on the edge of an area formerly occupied by a group of stone piles (NPRN 95241), on enclosed land above the Rhymney Valley.
The turf-covered stony mound measures 15m in diameter and 0.8m high. A cist has been exposed at its centre. Oriented north-east by south-westNE-SW, it is 0.7m deep and consists of a NW side slab 1.5m long and a SW end slab 0.9m wide. The capstone lies a few metres to the north.
