DescriptionCadw SAM No.=CN055
1. A concentric stone-walled enclosure complex, consisting of an inner enclosure, about 20m across, within an oval circuit, 70m north-east to south-west by 60m, having an east-facing entrance: an additional enclosure, on the north-west, is less massively defined.
Nineteenth century reports suggest that the inner circuit was largely intact at that time.

2. The triple defences are probably of different dates. The innermost ring with its thick, high stone wall may be early medieval; the other two lines consist of walls and banks and are probably prehistoric with later alterations and additions (Lynch. F. 1995. CADW: A Guide to Ancient and Historic Wales Gwynedd p197)
