Tabor Methodist Chapel was built in 1843 and rebuilt in 1864 to the design of architect Evan Griffiths of Aberdare. The later chapel is brick built in the Romanesque and Sub-Classical style with two storeys, a gable-entry plan and large pane segmental-head windows.
By 1990 Tabor had fallen into disuse.
