Tabernacl Independent Chapel was first built in 1842, rebuilt in 1859 (by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore) and then rebuilt/enlarged in 1897. The present chapel, dated 1897, is built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type, with pilasters on the front facade picked out with ashlar dressings. Similar dressings surround the window and door openings.
