Two sides of a possible enclosure noted on a ground photograph taken from opposite side of valley (GDB Jones).
On closer inspection the feature is an L-shaped scarp of massive proportions which seems hard to explain in terms of artificial construction. The field in which it lies was once seven fields until hedges and banks were grubbed out, but this throws no light on the identity of the feature which on balance is probably natural. It shows up well on an aerial photograph (OS 74/008/330).
