SJ 26 SE 7. SJ 2719 6083. Mound.

A grass-covered swelling projects approximately 13m NE from a field boundary, measuring 12.7m NW-SE and 0.75m high with a flat top 6.0m across. The field to the SW of the boundary is 1.3m above the level of the field in which the mound lies. There is no reason to suppose that the mound is an antiquity; it is most probably associated with old coal workings in the vicinity.
