Emmanuel Independant Chapel was first built in 1821, rebuilt/modified in 1874 and converted into a house during the later twentieth century. It is built gable-end onto the road, with a central gabled porch containing a round-headed doorway with a pair of timber doors. Either side of the porch is a round-headed window with marginal glazing picked out in coloured glass.Centrally over the porch is a small plaque inscribed EMMANUEL CHAPEL 1821. The side elvations have a series of segmentally arched windows with replacement glazing.
