Site Record

Ararat Baptist Chapel was built in 1824, modified in 1836, rebuilt in 1851 and rebuilt again in 1915. The 1915 chapel was designed by the architect William Beddoe Rees of Cardiff and built by E.Turner & Sons, also of Cardiff. It is stone built in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan and two storeys.
