Description
Plas Heulog, Llanfairfechan, was built in 1896 by a colliery-owning family (Massey) from Lancashire. It was then named 'Newry'. It was secured by the Country-wide Holidays Association (CHA) in 1930. It is a distinctive building with rendered elevations and an open tower.

The house was extensively added to by architect Herbert L. North, who also built its lodge (NPRN:469), for C.W. May-Massey.
