Tabernacle is situated within the village of Pencader (NPRN 96648). The independent cause in Pencader began around 1650, the former chapel building having been situated some 160m north-north-west. In 1909 the present chapel was built in a mixed architectural style of Simple Gothic and Art Nouveau. In 1998 it was still in use as a chapel.
