Providence Independent Chapel was built in 1865, in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan. The chapel was set out to look like a larger church, with a tower and spire to the right and a large decorated window above the gable-entry doorway. Providence closed in 1989 and in 2002 opened as a Baptist Chapel.
