Site Record

Bethany Methodist Chapel was built in 1880 in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type. The front facade has a simple round-headed doorcase with a fanlight decorated with sunburst glazing. The windows are all round-headed with simple ashlar dressings and marginal glazing. In the pediment is a roundel with simple tracery and the inscription 'BETHANY AD 1879'. In 2002 the building was still in use as a chapel.
